Andraž Fistravec
Director, Producer
His father Matjaž Fistravec is a renowned Slovenian director and producer who made more than fifty successful documentaries in his career and shared his passion with Andraž since he was a child. In 2005 Andraž started working professionally with his father on the documentary titled Occupation Arne, where he worked as Camera Assistant and Audio Assistant. From 2005 till 2009 he worked on more than 10 documentaries with his father and gained a lot of experience in film production. In 2009 he was a main editor of a documentary Trst – Tirana. In 2010 he opened a company VideoLab and started to work on his own projects as a director, videographer and video editor. In his career he made a lot offamous music videos, TV commercials, promotional videos, corporational videos and many more. He finished his studies of Multimedia in 2013. In 2016 he took over from his father a nonprofit Institute Studio Alp under which all fifty documentaries had been produced since 1990.
Vida Kaučič
Executive Producer
Vida made her first short documentary film titled Shame of Madness (E=mc2) in 2009. After she finished studies of Media Communication, she worked in London as a video producer at Cherryduck Productions, where she participated in promotional video projects of prestigious brands such as Timberland, Teflon, Lush and many others. In 2016 she started to work on her own video production projects in Slovenia. During that time she made more than a hundred promotional videos, creative videos and much more. In 2016 she also started working as a business partner for a company VideoLab and in 2019 she accepted a job as Executive producer at Institute Studio Alp.
Mojca Mavec
TV host and journalist
A well-known and much loved face on Slovenian national TV, Mojca has had a long career as a journalist, script writer and presenter. She focuses on international issues and travel, with a particular interest in Europe, Latin America and Africa.
Simon J. Woolf
Natural wine specialist & author
Simon is a British writer and journalist, specialised in natural, organic and biodynamic wine. His first book “Amber Revolution” received critical acclaim in the New York Time and won the prestigious Roederer International Wine Book Award in 2019. He is based in Amsterdam.
Valter Kramar
Wine Expert, Actor
Co-owner and wine director ofthe world famous Hiša Franko, a restaurant that focuses on the local, seasonal ingredients of Slovenia’s Soca valley – and on natural and orange wines from the surrounding regions. Valter was one oft he first to offer customers orange wines in a fine dining context, and has continually promoted and supported local winemakers who work in a natural way.
Joško Gravner
Oslavia
Joško Gravner, more than anyone, is the person who re-popularised orange/amber wine in Europe in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Saša Radikon
Oslavia
A once-close colleague of Gravner’s, Stanko Radikon was also a major pioneer of the modern orange wine style. He died in 2016 and his son Saša continues his work at the family winery in Oslavia.
